Weingut Römmert has been producing Franconian wine since 1917. The vines grow on sun-drenched slopes along the Mainschleife. The limestone soils give the wines their unmistakable character: mineral, aromatic, and distinctly Franconian.
From meticulous hand-harvesting to gentle cellar work – every sip tells a story of Franconian tradition and honest craftsmanship.
The Grape Varieties
Silvaner as the Flagship
Silvaner thrives particularly well on the limestone soils of the Mainschleife. In the glass, it reveals aromatic-mineral notes – distinctly Franconian, honest, and unmistakable.
Alongside it, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, and Scheurebe are produced for fruity moments. Spätburgunder and Schwarzriesling for red wine enthusiasts. Riesling and Domina complete the range. Eight grape varieties in total await your discovery.

More Than Just Tasting
Wine Tastings & Crime Wine Tasting
Every week, a case is solved in the Wine Shop. At the Crime Wine Tasting, you sip your way through the grape varieties while tracking down a crime. Glass by glass. The Crime Wine Tasting takes place on Fridays at 19:30. Who did it? We won't reveal that here.
For those who prefer the classics: tastings from 18 euros per person, plus cellar tours through the winery. During a cellar tour, you'll see how grapes from the estate's own vineyards become Franconian wine.
